About My Surgery (COMPLETED), Cyst Removal 3/28/2012 Options

I have sad news to report to you all, after meeting a doctor and surgeon this past week, I will need surgery to have a cyst removed from the upper right rear end.

Surgery will happen in a Hospital on Tuesday March 27th, 2012. I am scared because this is the first surgery for me in my life. I need all of your prayers and support. I'll probably be in the bed healing up because I'll be unable to sit because of pain. I'll probably be still here but I'm not sure at this time.

I've been sitting on that cyst for 1.5 months. a Recurring Cyst is not good to have and It must be gone.

The recovery time is 2~4 weeks...I hope to have a speedy recovery. I have 5 days left to enjoy life before I head "under the knife".

They will put me to sleep, so I wont feel a thing. But still wish me luck! (no lies, if you don't believe me, then ask phoebe. >.<)

All I know is, I'm counting down the days and right now it's at 4 days, 7 hours. :\

Com'on you baby! It's basically just cutting off a bit of excess flesh on top of your skin. Don't be scared!

Lemme tell you what happened to me... I had a bike accident some years back, and my left hand went through a car's side mirror. The shards sliced my left middle finger clean in half lengthwise, and half the flesh was hanging off the bone. Kind of like how you fillet a fish, well that was my finger.

I was so scared I'd lose the finger, going into surgery was actually a relief. They stitched it right up and my finger is fine (although there is a big scar on that finger)

I had to wear a big splint on that finger for like a 2 weeks though, so it was extended the whole time. I was basically walking around doing this with my left hand for 2 weeks: _|_

whoa....that's horrible Handler! guess that means my bump isn't anything compared to what you had... I hope my cyst isn't cancerous, that'd really make my life miserable >.<' They do a biopsy afterwards...-crosses fingers-

UPDATE: I'm not allowed to eat anything for 12 hours starting fro 12:00am Wed. this is no problem, because I lost about 15 lbs in 4 months...and I didn't take any drugs to do it! =]

I'm revving myself like an engine, getting ready for a minor surgery! I'll be ko'ed sure, but I should "stop being a baby" (which i did)

In the meantime, phoebe and I will be freaking out over our egos' impending deaths at the hands of admissions committees. Actually, scratch that - only my ego will die. Phoebe will most likely be rolling in acceptances. :D
